Unusual modes of transport you have used.

tallbike.jpg

This is the bike I go out for a friday night slow ride on. Few lights, some tunes etc.

The other two are Surly big dummy cargo bikes. They grey one is mine, the green one belongs to a friend. I use it all day every day and will only use the car if it's absolutely necessary. Can fit a weeks worth of shopping on it if I use a trailer too.

and further to previous, i have remembered that i have travelled on a milk float - must have been not that long after mum-tat broke her leg when i was about 6, milkman saw that she was struggling walking back from the nearest shops and gave us a lift up the road
made me remember - i was picked up by a Fuller's horse drawn carriage in fulham when I missed a bus - 'want a lift mate? hop on!'

Anyone been carried in a litter/palanquin/sedan chair?
Or just a stretcher?
I'm quite often carried around by bigger people who think it's amusing to just get up and walk about like they haven't noticed me hanging off them.

Not travelled by wheelbarrow myself that I can remember but I have moved a calf in one of those enormous and horrifyingly expensive giant wheelbarrows that lots of farms have. Never had the chance to travel by cow or oxcart but I know people who have and it's a goal for next time I'm working with kye.

Or fired by a canon? We have at least three defrocked vicars here.
I was present when my mum's church managed to misplace either a bishop or an archdeacon, I think, if that helps? There was a boat involved somehow too iirc due to flooding in the area at the time.
