Where are you on the transport network?

Bet The Anchor was busy today!
It sure was. They are really capitalising on the outdoor space since the new owners took over ( my first visit since that happened ). The A3/M25 in the area is simply horrible.
Ps, I have still never been to the withies despite having lived nearby for a year or two.

The nearby roads are horrendous, but for the folk of Woking they feel that they are in the country, so it works for them.

The Withies is better for a meal than just a pint, they also have rooms so can make it a very decent meal with a stay for an occasion....

Lovely, I have relatives in the Bournemouth and Wimborne area and have been to the New Forest many times.

Hope the x-ray goes well!
Thanks! It wasn't needed in the end, and there would have been a 4 hour wait, so I just saw triage and they splinted my finger. They don't think it's broken after all.

Cool, the Forest is nice isn't it. Nice to see if from the top deck of the bus too.

Outside Southampton Central. I'm more impressed with the new mural than I thought I'd be. It looks pretty cool. I used to work in this building when I worked for the Council, and have abseiled off the tall part of it (19 floors). The paint they've used for the mural is billed as 'pollution absorbing' so it's supposed to be good for the environment too, although I'm a little dubious, having read up about it, and suspect that there's a dose of green washing in that statement.

Nice-looking station. I'd never heard of the place and your pic made me Google it. Lovely area. I hope you're going to see the magnificent Calstock Viaduct close by, a Grade II listed bulding and the largest viaduct in Britain to be constructed out of concrete blocks, apparently...
