I had similar yesterday. My train was cancelled, other trains were running late. I was told one thing at one station, and different when I arrived at another. All a big muddle. I had to get a taxi from one station to another. Now to try and claim it back

The big board said platform 8 at 7.07. There was another train due at 7.05, so I knew that was a lie.

The Cheltenham train left and the platform sign said 8. So I went down the escalator.

I was half way down the escalator when the announcement came through.

I live about a 10 minute walk from Turnpike Lane, on the Piccadilly line.

Just been for an interview in Ponders End - caught the train there and back, and walked back from Tottenham Hale.

Not by that sign they didn't, I'm guessing it's about 15 minutes to the station from there. Nice sign though with the train on top, they don't make me like that anymore nor are there steam trains running through Ledbury, so we are off to find one later.

At either end of the Severn Valley Railway their are bars with several real ales on pumps. Sadly one of the Kidderminster vols died yesterday
