Some friends invited us to lunch at a New Forest pub a few weeks ago, It is maybe 20 miles away (as you know). It took us an hour and a half to get there.
Yeah, I was being a bit disingenuous, cos the roads can be gridlocked, but once you get away from them and the car parks you can walk for miles without seeing hardly anyone.
