Meatballs, sauce, and spaghetti - probably with a layer of fresh parmesan over the lot

Need to get more chocolate. Or cake. Or chocolate cake.

El Panzon don't do them the last time I looked :hmm:

Tonight is last of the kheema curry hopefully with some sag aloo if I've got everything in for it.

Frittata with runner beans, green beans and feta for me and the bloke.
Pizza for the boy and his friend who is coming for tea. The friend is a girl and I asked him this morning if she's his girlfriend.
He gave me a withering look and told me that 'she's not a proper girl, she's a tomboy'
That's me told then.

Cream cakes for pudding, but not for me cos I've put on 1/2 a stone since giving up smoking

Last night was macaroni cheese for the bigger girl, and chilli & rice for us. Tonight is jacket spud night - beans and cheese fired at the spud from a trebuchet I shall be building out of sticky back plastic and cornflakes packets.

Sardines with cucumber and rocket salad and runner bean, tomato and chilli salad  Was fucking lovely. Don't tell him I said so but memespring is a cullinary genius sometimes :hmm: :D

I had a sort of pretend paella. Not the real thing by any means, but pretty bloody tasty in its own ricey, chickeny, shrimpy, chorizoish way.

A rich beef stew with root veg mash (turnip, swede, celeriac) and peas. Cream doughnut for pudding.

Yesterday I also made some redcurrant/blackcurrant/raspberry cordial (blackcurrants from ex's plot - the rest from the garden) and brined some cauli, onions and garden french beans to make piccalilli with today.

Ribeye steak with pate; fine beans with chilli mayonnaise. Crusty rolls. Bottle of Chateau-neuf-de-Pape.

Celebrating the end of the school year, and I'm doing tea.

Mmmm, nice wine that :)

More curry for us tonight, it has been curry week in the Biddly household. Saag aloo, with something

Tomorrow will be steak and chips, because I want a night not cooking

i'm making... mussels in a garlic butter sauce, then to follow that salmon en croute with new potatoes, carrots and leeks, then eton mess to finish. mum's birthday so hopefully she'll enjoy it.

Sounds lovely strung_out, I'm sure your mum will enjoy it.

Veggie sausages for us tonight, can't decide what to do with them.
Maybe just sausages, jacket spuds and veg.

Home-made meatballs with not-so-home-made-pasta.

Ooh we are having that tonight :D Although I am having to buy some more mince as the packet we got at the weekend, despite being use by today, has now billowed up with gas and is looking decidedly grey :( Mr. QofG's thinks it is still usable but I am not taking the chance!

farfalle pasta, cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil, olive oil, along with a few finely chopped mushrooms, touch of garlic and a cheeky bit of steamed shredded spinach.

and i put some black pepper on mine cos was feeling reckless.

absolutely tremendously tasty
thsi with spaghetti instead.

and a bit of steamed spinach as well.

nothing if not predicable me :)

Griddled chicken skewers in a wrap.

Just been to my boys leaving assembly at school - they did a photo montage of the whole class from when they started the juniors set to with an individual photo and a 'GOODBYE X' for each of them - fucking hell I cried like a massive fucking babby! :( :D

Anyway, they're staying for lunch and 'one more playtime' (off I go again  ) but they can opt out of eating the last school dinner hehe, so I've just bought him a giant celebratory sausage roll which is going in the oven shortly ready for his imminent arrival home.
