I'm mighty tired so the trip to Waitrose has been postponed in favour of a trip to Mother India. I reckon I will have paneer karahi, mixed Indian veg bhuna (madras hot) and maybe some chaana. Also buying a few bottles of pear cider.
will either have stuffed peppers with some salad or i will cook a chicken
i ordered said chicken online and when it arrived it was much much bigger and much much more expensive than it was supposed to be so i rang them and they've refunded the difference. enormous bargain chicken for dinner for the rest of the week
A piece of haddock with some (shock horror) white sauce from a packet, and those grilled courgettes I had before.
I also bought some packet gravy to go with my leftover roast pork. <hangs head in shame>
I'm going to attempt to make a soft shell crab handroll later, seeing as I happen to have all the necessary ingredients (apart from swordfish roe, and I don't know where to buy it). Here's hoping it goes well and isn't just another one of Disaster's culinary disasters.
I'm having a roast dinner affair with mashed and roast potatoes, asparagus, roasted onions, parsnips, cauliflower, carotts and a veggie pie with gravy...nearly forgot sage n onion stuffing and yorkshire puds.
Though this is a while off as I have just been munching on a few different bread rolls, blue viened brie,a strong cheddar, olives with feta cheese,on the vine cherry tomatoes, pickled onions, beetroot and cucumber.....(really wish there was a lip smacking smiley)
The kids had pizza and I had a M & S chilli con carne. Which could well be my favourite ready meal of all time.
The children were excited at the thought of having pizza on a Sunday - we'd never have done it while my husband was here. Had to be a cooked dinner on a Sunday so we felt like proper little rebels.
We haven't sorted anything out for dinner because we've been babysitting for 24 hours so we're having some lamb kebab things from the freezer and will get some chips from the chippy to go with. Would rather have a lovely roast with loads of veggies though.
