i had a meal replacement bar- mixed berry flavour, a small pack of pretzels and a small portion of cheee. i want a big plate of pasta but hot food make me want to vomit at the moment

bought hummus, cracker, chocolate soy milk, japanese rice crackers, dark chocolate from whole food store.
that'll be it.

i just had chocolate haagen daz ice cream for a snack. later on i'm having mexican food probably, some tacos and maybe an enchilada or two in green sauce

I'm about to crack open a bottle of wine and I might have some a cheese and green pepper toastie if there's any bread left.

I had an awesome dinner last night. We went out and had a shared mixed starter which had prawns and steak and roasted peppers and sausage and mortadella and mozarella and tomato and calamari. It was very good. Then we went off-menu and had veal Milanese with spaghetti pomodoro, which was also very good. And we had two bottles of wine. And Alex B had tiramisu for pudding. We were very full and happy.

Tonight we are having fish, perhaps salmon, with some form of potato and peas I should imagine.

God that sound ace. *drools*

Chicken Phaal from the Bengali place for me tonight. Rice, Nan and might even go for one of their mixed tandoori starters, too. And a few beers. :)

I think it's like Vindaloo but even hotter.

I'm having grilled courgettes with lemon and basil for dinner, maybe some beany salad for tea

Sort of - I've just spent a week on holiday eating sausages, steaks and cheese and drinking beer, but holidays don't count. Do they? :)

No, holidays never count. I always say I'm going to continue my exercise 'regime' whilst on holiday and I never do because I get my exercise going walking, and lying down reading :D

I don't normally post on this thread, but you know what we had last night?

A fucking roulade. :D

It was the best thing I've ever eaten, and the coolest.

I was so appreciative, I thought, i know, I'll take pictures of it and post them on the internet.

rich! hadn't heard of THE roulade, the most famous one ever, so whole he was cooking it I showed him the thread. :D

Ours wasn't as cool as that, obviously, but here it is:

:D:D

so go on, what was in it?

what is phaal? I always see you on about it

Hottest curry on Earth. An English invention, surprise surprise. Normally so hot you can't taste anything else but chilli, but the place I get mine from is really skilful with the mix of onions and garlic and stuff to make sure the other ingredients aren't totally eradicated by chilli-burn.

Makes you gloriously anti-social for at least 48 hours. :D

:D:D

so go on, what was in it?

masses of parsley, parmesan and garlic in the eggy bit.

loads of fresh basil (greek and sweet)

mascarpone, pepper, courgette and shredded cabbage in the filling.

yum.

it was intended to reduce the amount of cabbage we had waiting to be eaten, but failed dismally :D

 bit of a fucker the next day on the rear end though, I should imagine?
