Pasta pesto tonight.

I have uploaded the food photos from my holiday: http://www.flickr.com/photos/missfrantical/sets/72157605265545656/

We ate very well
What's this?

French onion soup from a restaurant in Montmartre. It was AMAZING. I made the waitress get the recipe from the chef. The secret ingredient is beef marrowbone.

Well done May! See, I told you you'd walk it! :D

We went to Frankie and Bennys after the cinema, I had a tomato and mozzerella salad to start and then a big burger and chips. It was lush. :)

Only I let the boys have Coke as a treat so they are busy working it off on the trampoline atm.

Went for a walk on the Downs with my bezzer and the kids are gone again for the night, so a nice easy dinner - Tescos spicy beanburger in two slices of bread with mayo, lettuce, tomato slices, ketchup and a processed cheese slice.

Might have a scone later. :hmm:

Congrats May - glad there was no such thing as a theory test back when I passed me test, cos I'm certain I wouldn't have got through it! :D

anyway - beef stew for us tonight

Last night was lasagne, new potatoes in butter and mint from the garden and steamed broccoli. Leftovers tonight.

What's rouladen?

It's strip of top round about 4" by 8" or so, sliced thin, rolled and stuffed. I make 'em the way my mum used to: pound out the steak, smear with Dijon mustard, and place a quarter of a medium-sized onion, a quarter of a kosher dill pickle, and a rolled up slice of Genoa salami at one end. You just roll them up, stick a few toothpicks in them and brown them. Then they go, covered, into a medium oven with a bit of beef stock and the deglazed contents of the pan they were browned in.

maybe a stirfry. which is what we had yesterday, but there are loads of ingreedients for one in the fridge, so it'd be a shame to waste :)

hmmm, not sure tonight. either my housemates will cook something, or I'll have leftover thai green curry (which my housemates almost died eating as it was so spicey )
