got some trout but dunno what to cook.
any suggestions apart from grilling the things with butter and corriander?

Bake it in a foil parcel with some lemon juice. Serve with new pots and peas.

We are having Roast chicken, roast potatoes and parsnips, sprouts, carrots, broccoli and peas with homemade gravy. I can't wait. :)

I don't know yet, I can't decide if I'm going to go to a salsa class tonight. I haven't been for 2 months. I need a kick up the arse.

Sausage and mash, though still massively full from a lovely lunchtime thali at Govindar's in Soho.
Makes up for the jumping up and down and not eating for 2 days over new year.

chickeny oniony carrotty and random goodness, and it smells fantastic - should be ready in an hour or so :)

jacket potato with cheesy beans :D

Curse you Rollem! That's what I want now :( I'm supposed to be having leftover soup and working hard in my little garret, but instead I'll be sitting at my desk dreaming of cheesy beans.

*sob*

I have a pizza from pizza express to eat so most likely that...though since Im on nights and just woken up it will kinda be my breakfast. Im taking to work later some homemade tuscan bean soup.

I'm going to a friends for a Bette Davis night. Nothing to do with the film we're watching but we're having Steak and Kidney pie. Not just any steak and kidney pie but M&S steak and kidney pie with chips and peas

There goes the diet for yet another day  :(

Am about to start to make a potato and aubergine mousakka (sp?) from a new vegi cookbook I got for Christmas. Mr jb is in bed with a cold so am hoping this will tempt him up for a little bit

Lemon and garlic chicken, cabbage fried in balsamic vinegar and swede mash. If I had any cash I'd just get a curry though.

Having roast beef at my eldest daughter's place. It wasn't planned, but I'm having such fun with my grandchildren* and they didn't want me to go at 6pm as I planned to.

*Been on youtube looking at 'how-to' origami

I had roast beef too, I found a slow roasting joint reduced to £1.50 in Sainsburys this afternoon. I stuck it the oven at the lowest gas mark while I went out swimming. When I came home I had slices of it in a bagel with spinach and mustard:cool:
There's still loads left so I'll probally have the same tommorrow, then give whatever is left over to the dog:)

I made a spicy sundried tomato chicken dish and we had it with a baked potato and nice big garlic mushrooms. It was quite nice, which was surprising because I didn't really know what I was doing..

last night was steak with peppercorn sauce, jacket potato and salad. Tonight is homemade spag bog made with lots of red wine and garlic with wholegrain pasta.

Pork and mushroom stroganoff with rice and broccoli and peas.

heo is in to his second day of painting our bedroom  so I am going to reward him with chocolate ice cream for pudding too.

I've got a pack of beef mince that needs eating. I might do home-made beef burgers.

Tomorrow I have to make canapes for a party for around 20 people. Quiche, dips, etc are already covered. I have no idea what I'm going to make yet. Suggestions?

We've got sausages, bacon, eggs, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms and we might even have baked beans if we are feeling extravagant.

Last nite Teresa made the best dinner...and vegetarian too. It was ravioli filled with butternut squash in a heavy parmesan cream sauce with shitake mushrooms. Along with spinach and a very nice salad. She's a good cook and makes me good stuff to eat. Hopefully the days of Burger King and Taco Bell are over (mostly).

Tonite we may get indian take away or go out to this Caribbean restaurant near us....haven't decided which. :)
