I've got a pack of beef mince that needs eating. I might do home-made beef burgers.

Tomorrow I have to make canapes for a party for around 20 people. Quiche, dips, etc are already covered. I have no idea what I'm going to make yet. Suggestions?

prawns? mini falafel balls?

Tomato soup with crisps :). I'm trying to clear out the cupboards 'cos I'm moving soon and I can't stand throwing food away.

We had a massive dinner and I'm stuffed.

Roasted peppers, carrots, onion and tomatoes with chicken breast, new potatoes and stuffed mushrooms. Luvverly.

With mash soj!

CHEESY mash!

Or a baked potato (with cheese!)!

We've got a choice between three things - the last of the chorizo, chickpea/pork/spinach/tomato stew, black-eyed bean and bacon soup and black eyed bean and lentil burgers....all already made and just needing to be reheated (or in the case of the burgers, briefly fried).....so no waiting about for me! :p

((( soj :( )))

Why the :( sheo? (e2a - oh, got ya - the length of time. Sorry - brain's fried)

I can't be fucked making mash - am veh tired and just need to eat something easy to make

Need something healthy after last night's chips so just finishing off a Shepherd's Pie. This time's innovation was to cook the mash potato in advance so that it cools down and won't sink through the pie mixture. Never thought of it before they mentioned it on the Hairy Bikers this week.
BTW their mushy peas looked great, never knew they had bicarbonate of soda in them.

Chopped up some chorizo, fried off with onions and chickpeas, having with couscous, then out to a party later :D

It was pretty disappointing in the end :( Our local curry place has gone right off the boil. So don't worry sparklefish, you didn't miss much!

Oh, I hate that.:(

We still haven't established what's for dinner. I have had a doughnut and a packet of wheat crunchies.

our chowder was ok, not as good as I've made it before but then I'm tired :(

may - the best ever chinese that was just round the corner from us went really downhill the last couple of times and now I see they've changed name. Its so sad when places change like that :( I haven't found a replacement one yet :(

Argh, that's even worse - a good Chinese is so hard to find. We still don't have one here, and we've been here 3 years!

(((to all who've lost tasty takeaways))) :(

it wasn't just good, it was perfect  the best prawn toast you've ever seen, a perfect curry when you needed the msg hit, loads of fantastic dishes all cooked just how I like, the perfect hot n sour soup etc etc

and now they can't cook anything right :(

Full on chicken roast *insert stuffed smiley*

My mum gave me £20 for christmas so I'm taking us all to see Golden Compass tomorrow and won't have time to cook a roast. It's sausage roll and chips tomorrow

I just had some soup but it was rubbish. Am also roasting potatoes, carrots and parsnips. I never have before so this is an experiment.

The lady is coming over for dinner in an hour or so....i'm makeing chicken fajitas with onions and red bell peppers along with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and salsa. On the side will be spanish rice and refried beans :)

And a bottle of Sterling Vintage Chardonnay 2005 and bloody marys

Should set teh mood for a romantic evening assuming the refried beans don't cause too much gas :D

I had toast and magic sam had lidl banana chips.:(

Might have a gu pudding, got them reduced in tesco.
