What's for tea tonight? (pt3)

We are going to have pork steaks roasted with parsnips and carrots and maple syrup off of a recipe card that I found in Waitrose.

It's quite an event because Mr Miggins is agreeing to eat vegetables!
 
last nite i ended up ordering a pizza with pepperoni and onions :oops:

so tonite it will be the leftover indian :p
 
Well, I got some salmon but also a big sirloin steak for the boyfriend, so he can choose what he fancies. I also got him a big bunch of flowers :) People don't celebrate my boy enough.

Was gonna suggest cous cous with roasted veg to go with your fish, but you're home from shops now :D
 
Hehe :D I might do some stuffed peppers as a side dish...it depends if he wants salmon or steak, cos if it's the latter only nice thick potato wedges will do really!
 
He sounds bloody spoiled if you ask me May ;) :p

I'm gonna have me butties wot I took for lunch cos boss treated me to pub lunch instead. But now, a celebratory guinness and spliff I think :cool:
 
Roast rib of beef which has somehow managed to absorb an entire bottle of wine, pan juice gravy with milk and more wine, parboiled and goosefat-roasted potatoes, purple sprouting broccoli and yorkshires that have puffed up like miniature Cyril Smiths.

So all would have been well.

But we're out of horseradish! Mustard we have in abundance, but no fucking horseradish! Would wasabi work?

He chose the steak :D so I did potato wedges and steamed broccoli and green beans. It was lush, especially with the nice Marsanne that I bought for his birthday last week.

So it will be salmon tonight, with lots of veg.
 
Chunky chickpea soup

have taken a rather large portion out of the freezer and it's gonna sooo well washed down with a coupla glasses of rioja

That sounds like a well good friday night tea aqua!

We'll be having steak and chip shop chips washed down with some beer. Also aces!
 
Gnocchi, mange tout and sausages for sure tonight but I might also add a cheese sauce as we have some to be used up. I bought a pressure cooker this lunchtime so I might be having fun with that this weekend. :D

That was so delicious :cool: Honey and mustard roast salmon with a black pepper crust, served on a bowl of mixed veg (peppers, broccoli, green beans, cabbage, carrot) stirfried with garlic, ginger, light soy and a splash of lemon juice at the end.

Meals without spuds are great sometimes.

Got me a fresh batch of thai red curry paste, so it's king prawn curry...with some pak choi and sliced courgette chucked in too

i think i just soiled myself....:oops: i would KILL for that right now but i just picked up ssome shit from burger king 4 lunch

tonite i'm going to me dads for dinner, don't know whats on tap

Jesus fuck DC, why don't you just buy some of the friggin stuff and make it! You don't half eat some shite.
