What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Going to my fave Punjabi place tonight. It's a works leaving do which I have organised and most people have never eaten there. I will not suffer from the fear that I have bigged the food up too much oh no..I won't either as the food is simply that good..

I will have tikka paneer to start, then small dish of mixed indian veg bhuna, small dish of paneer karahai, rice & chapati.

When you say a 'mate gave them to you' did you find them hidden at the back of a drawer or something?

I had a colleague that kept garlic sausage and kippers in his desk drawer. It was unbearable.

Mushroom risotto tonight with possibly a grilled chicken breast too.

Key lime pie from the tramps buffet for pudding.

Off out to do nuddy modelling, and thanks to hangover, have eaten my bodyweight in junk food today, so will probably just have some cheapo noodles or sommat to balance the blood sugar. Then when I get home I MAY have a wee dram and something else

I'm doing another curry under instruction from my mate Shuna. First generation Indian in Spain - a rare thing. However, I don't think she knows her stuff as well as my Bradford educated mates at Muglai.

We are marinating chicken pieces in yoghurt with tandoori spices.

Gently fry garlic and onion. Add vegetables. When all is cooked add the marinated chicken.

Shuna is hot as fuck, but sadly far too young :(

I made an egg and bacon flan this morning. A brainwave told me to add a whole garlic and herb Boursin cheese to the mixture. Egg, bacon, onion*, cheddar cheese, cream and cream cheese. In shortcrust pastry.
It must have more cholesterol and calories in it than anyone would need in fortnight, but my good God it's absolutely fantastic.

*Look! A healthy ingredient!

Frozen veg, cumin, caraway, garlic, red pepper, celery, mushroom soup, and thinly sliced potato baked in one pot.

Blind Lemon is enjoying a large bowl of home-made spinach and watercress soup with hot buttered wholemeal toast. He cherishes these long weekends.
