What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Chickpea chard and porcini soup, moose?

I have a pdf here if you want it

No idea what I'm gonna have. Feeling pretty down at the moment due to work stresses and just want to hide away. Appetite's not brilliant.

I've made a watercress and spinach soup (veg stock cube, water, knob of butter, watercress and spinach then whacking in the stick blender) but dunno what else to make. I've got some really nice bread but beyond that I haven't really thought of anything.

I'm supposed to be making a frittata with potato, king prawns and peas on one side and spinach, feta and potato on the other...but I'm massively stressed atm and haven't slept properly for three nights and it's REALLY caught up with me today....so I'm considering a chinese...but then I'd have to wait till about six to eat and I'll prob be dead by then, lol.

Also...I have already prepared most of the ingredients....wilted/squeezed out the spinach, cooked the potatoes etc....so it might be the easiest option after all.

Fuck sake, wish I had someone to cook for me today *weeps* :(

train food. :(
i could make a beef sarnie, but i have no leaves to go in it and the bread does not have sufficient structural integrity to support itself as a viable sandwich.

Gonna try doin me own coronation chicken tonight wiv sum leftover chicken, curry powder, mayonnaise, apricots and sum Almonds if i can find em. Probably just stuff it in sum wholemeal pitta pockets.

Why do you have to wait until 6pm sheo?

Get a chinese and do the frittata tomorrow.

Welllll....it doesn't open till 5 and the delivery driver doesn't start till half past (lol at me knowing that :D )....so it'd be here realistically by six...BUT...fuck it, I've just gone and cut anything that needs cutting and done the peas so actually, it's all ready to go....and my son can cut up some tomatoes for us to have on the side.
And I'm gonna eat it IN BED  :D

(I already have soup ready to go for tomorrow  :D .....and stuff for Thursday  PLUS there'll be leftover frittata for packed lunches, too....so just gotta get on with it!)

Dunno yet... It's day one of vegetarianism. We've got loads of black beans in so maybe spicy black bean soup topped with corriander. We also have lots of eggs so maybe fritatta :)

I have a yogurt to get me from now til 7.30 when I go to yoga, then I won't be home until 9pm for food.... this is not good :hmm: :(

Gutted for you..:( I didn't have mine last night but my BF had the roti (roti bread filled with veg & spices folded over) and the chilli thing and said it was amazing. I was on my way home from Bristol and made a detour to the sweetmart as the paneer mattar is the best I have ever had.

I liked the look of the chilli things, but I was pushed for space. I might get some of those next time. It's only a little detour on my way home from work.
