What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I ended up doing chorizo risotto last night, but inexplicably made too little for both of us. So made myself a quick Thai curry with chicken and veg, eaten after I'd scoffed the dregs of risotto out of the pan.

Something with salmon tonight.

Roasted chicken thighs & legs with thyme. Made a spicy tomato sauce with onions, mushrooms, garlic and parsley. Pasta on the side.

I think that might be too much for my belly  :hmm:

I definitely need to bring more food to work though... 4 ryvitas, a grapefruit and a cuppa soup is not enough!
That and a banana might be the ticket :)

Thats not enough! How about some soup? Got to look after yourself when you're not feeling too good.

No idea for tonight - hospital consultation for the tiddler followed by both nippers parents evenings - it might be chips.

We still have courgettes to be used up. Also theres a load of mushrooms and sugarsnap peas that need eating. So possibly some kind of veggie curry with a coconut and tamarind base. With either rice or noodles.

am gonna pig out tonight and have fray bentos steak n kidley pie wiv double fried chips. Oh an loads a warburtons bread thickly smeared in butter fer makin butties wiv.

Only just seen your other post :( ask fella for some ideas?
He was off out to rehearsal mate :( Anyway, had some pesto pasta in the end, and managed to find 'Ray Mears: Northern Wilderness' on the telly, which helped my head enormously :)

Tonight I'm going to use some stuff up. Yellow pepper, cheese, leek, and broccoli frittata, with some roasted veggie flavour couscous, then apple and blackberry pie with cream. And loads and loads of cuddles.

My daughter is dancing ON STAGE at the Dome tonight  :D and first I have two wash loads to do/hang up, the guinea pigs hutch to clean out, a Tesco delivery to receive/put away and lunches etc for tomorrow to sort out.....but I have pre-made some veg soup and we have some 'artisan roasted garlic bread' to go with it (another half price offer)...so at least dinner will be quick! Choc fudge milkshake for pudding, for them.

I want a takeaway as I am knackered and have been cooking all the time for the past few days.
I don't know what takeaway though! Don't really like them that much.
Anyone know any decent takeaways in Deptford? Vietnemese maybe?

Smoked haddock risotto.

Yum, I love smoked haddock.

For tea tonight I have jacket spud topped with plaster dust
I just phoned home to ask the bloke to stick a spud in the oven and he's managed to put a hole in the wall between the kitchen and living room whilst putting in a socket for the new dishwasher.
There was much swearing going on.

I have no idea.
Nothing is really grabbing me and seeing as I sit on my arse all day and am piling on weight, if nothing takes my fancy it might be nowt. :hmm:

Our dinner was lush.

We had fajitas with minced beef and loads of peppers, onions and mushrooms. I used a discovery kit which is way nicer than old el paso and added some chipotle paste for extra flavour. Loaded with refried beans, cheese and sour cream too so not very healthy. : o

Pasta with quorn sausages and kidney beans in a tomato/paprika/cumin sauce. It's a regular meal here but I used smoked paprika for a change which didn't go down as well.

I have no idea.

I feel like this now. Can't be fucking arsed. Nothing is good enough for me to move for. Havent eaten since 3pm and now I'm just like, so what, I'm hungry but I'm also lazy and right now, laziness wins.

I got a Tesco delivery in especially this morning so I would have fresh coriander to put in a laksa for dinner.
Start to prep it, look in the cupboard and there was no coconut milk!
So, had vegetable and prawn fried rice
And a hot crowd bun and 6 mini eggs for pudding. I fucking love Easter.

Had it with rice... Half way through i thought it was going to be a disaster. I added a load of cumin and it turned out ok. The boy liked it... Considering i dint use a recipe and haven't made it before it wasn't a bad attempt... Can you tell I'm a bit disappointed :/
