Cor, that looks great!

Lamb chops, garlicky new potatoes, broccoli and green beans for us. I also got a 1/2 price bottle of Shiraz in sainsburys.

Possibly cake, but that means cleaning the kitchen and then baking it so possibly not.

Fuck me...the pie was MAGIC

My daughter did the decorating btw :D

Had to come up with a plan b for the pudding cos I had no ground almonds...grr...so there's a nectarine crumble cake in the oven. Will have it warm (although we're all a bit stuffed  ) with either ice cream or custard.

:D

Had mates over for lunch so I did a slow cooked pork loin, pea & saffron stew with mash. Choccie cake for puds.

Can now concentrate on beer & reheat some leftover curry later

Melton ale sausages, steamed tender stem broccoli and mac-a-leeky cheese in the manner of maykasahara, topped with tomatoes, and panko Parmesan crust

Baked/grilled (haven't decided yet :hmm: ) jerk pork shoulder steaks with coconut rice and broccoli and we have two posh creme brulees for pudding (half price in Tesco) so those, shared between the three of us (which basically means I'll get a spoonful from each of them  :D ).

This one, I've decided but I'm leaving the coconut milk out. Can't stand the stuff apart from in Thai curries, weirdly.

ETA: Ooh, the marinade for this looks great. Don't think I've ever used soy sauce for Indian cooking before. My kitchen smells like Colaba Causeway and I haven't even cooked anything yet.

Something big/cheap/healthy that I can bake. Could you top a vegetable/bean/pasta bake with sweet potato or would that taste rank?

Something with chicken breasts if they defrost in time.

Probably in a creamy sauce with roast spuds, green beans and broccoli, possibly carrots too.
