What's for tea tonight? (#8)

The garlic breaded chicken was great, along with potatoes with loads of Dijon mustard & chives and some leftover homemade spinach and tomato curry.

I keep eating weird combinations of food his week, all of which have very strong flavours. Nearly 4 weeks since giving up 20+ years of daily spliffs (and baccy as I never smoked fags) - the taste buds are coming alive again and can't resist going for absolute taste overload. Love it. Tonight will be a mental hot curry :)
Are you not smoking weed at all now then?

I can't decide what to have tonight. Am mulling over arrabiata, but we had a tomatoey thing last night.

Nope, not a sossidge. Much as I loved it I finally saw the bad shit it had done/was doing to me mentally. As soon as it stopped being a good thing I packed it in on the spot.

Cravings have mostly gone, but they were horrific for the first two weeks. Harder was getting out of the habit of smoking/being stoned all the time, you get so used to it that not being hammered is boring and too weird at first. First night out DJ'ing/partying was really odd, but in reality easier than I thought it would be.

Head much clearer already; feel more positive, upbeat, happy and sociable. Already less prone to anti-social 'not joining in', short term memory loss, foggy headed mornings, and feeling randomly low and/or short tempered. Mrs R thinks she's got a new bloke :D I'm well chuffed with myself

A full roast chicken stuffed wiv garlic lemon an half an onion. Then am gonna spend the night pickin away at it wiv me fingers....... Should keep me occupied fer a coupla hours..

If you don't mind me asking, were you only smoking green, or other stuff?

Not sure what were having, but I made fish pakora & onion bajhi's this afternoon because I fancied them.

Large chef's special kebab for me and a seafood pizza for Mrs Chicken -cannot be bothered to cook as i have done so all week and just want simple meat in bread whilst atrophying on the sofa in front of a brainless film (John dies at the end)

Polenta tart with cherry tomatoes, cheese and onion. Rice salad. Chicken, mushroom and courgette in creamy garlic sauce. Mung bean hummus. Baba Ganesh. Veggies for dipping in the dip. Hope it's enough to go round.

Sounds lovely, Yu. : )

We'll be having something chickeny.

Probably with a cheats creamy mushroom sauce, with roast spuds and veg. I do have Philly though, so could do stuffed chicken breasts with roasted veg.

We also have a chocolate brownie pudding and vanilla ice cream if we're not too full.

We had a chinese last night and there's enough left over for a bit of grazing during the day and for my daughter to have for her dinner when she gets back...and we will have more of those haddock fishcakes with lots of veg.

garlic mushrooms, ham & olives in the end.
