What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Chicken Stew has morphed into Chicken Chasseur, which is what tends to happen if I have all the ingredients for the latter to hand.
I do love a Chicken Chasseur.
It will come back into fashion more generally at some point, but it never went out of fashion for me :D

I might put a couple of dumplings in it if I can be arsed, despite it being the sort of culinary offense that might cause an international incident :D

Lazy big frozen pizza with 1/4lb of Salami Milanesi cooked on top with extra cheese on that. Now looking at a trio of a rocket lolly, twister and some Vienetta for afters.

Fucking hell, being a lazy bugger is tasty sometimes.

Also now wondering how this could be most pretentiously put on a menu.

Just write 'hand cut' or 'seasonal' in front of it.

When it says 'hand cut chips' you know you are getting about 8 luke warm chips in a Jenga tower.

Also I'm generally quite happy with chips cut by a food processor or other mechanical cutting device, as long as they are real potato and fresh.
I don't think having someone cutting chips all day (probably on minimum wage and bored out of their mind) inherently makes the chips better.
It's more about are they freshly cut before being cooked, rather than delivered in a big bag or stored in a tub of water for ages before being cooked.

Last time I had to hand cut chips I went out and bought one of these.
Saved me about half an hour each day.
