What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Falafal and beans (black and other) with a few lamb meat balls in a rich tomato and herby garlic sauce with cous cous and spinach. Naughty dessert after (can not possibly say)

^ that's a shame May

I cannot get the fucking eggs right on chachouka, ever. Beautiful tasty stew, over-cooked egg yolks, and the white took forever!

Anyway, fella's out at band practice tonight, so it's quick tea for us - poached egg on beans on (yummy Lancashire) cheese on toast

My turn for cystitis now! :( NOT HAVING FUN!

My daughter's friend and her mum have just very kindly come over and taken her out and might keep her for a sleepover, although I'm supposed to be taking her and another friend swimming tomorrow  so if it's just me, I'm gonna have a steamed cod fillet with lots of steamed veg....and of course, tons and tons of cranberry juice (omg, I'm SO sick of cranberry juice)...

First of all though I've got to put up with some bod my landlords are sending round to do an energy assessment or something (on top of the insulation bloke they had come round yesterday  )....hope he won't mind me nipping up to the toilet every two minutes....

Do you layer it cheese > beans > egg?
No, exactly as I typed it above...poached eggs on top of beans on top of cheese on top of toast :)

Oh actually you've done it in reverse there - sorry!

Then when you cut into the eggs, the lovely yolk spreads onto the beans. Fuck me, can't wait til teatime :D

Never mind all yer eggs and yer beans, you selfish, greedy bastards.....whaddabout my fanny?!?

The energy assessment man stayed for ages and I had to keep dashing up to the toilet at convenient moments....'I just need to fill in a couple of forms now, won't take a minu....' 'NO PROBLEM!!' *races up stairs* ...so it was all quite stressful :( :D BUT he fitted one of those electricity usage monitor thingys....so now I can, for eg, put the toaster on and go 'WOW! 20p an hour!' or put the kettle on and go 'OMG! 32p an hour!!!'.... :)

(((sheo's bits))) :( That monitor sounds  though.

I'm having a pork chop and veg of some variety tonight. Assuming 1. I get off my arse and go to the butchers and 2. they have any pork chops :D
