What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Yesterday was beer and hotdogs and happy times <3

Am on a very delayed train home atm..no idea how long it's going to be and anyway I can't be arsed to cook so once my daughter's friend's dad has dropped her off I'm going to order us a Chinese :)

Was tomato avoidance dislike or an allergy? Good luck!

I've had a beef stew in the slow cooker all day and have just topped it off with some chive dumplings (they should have had horseradish in but the boy is a "mustard avoider" :D)
Will have it with some Charlotte potatoes and steamed broc

my fella is kinda allergic to them. although we're not sure. he has eczema and that can flare up, but he's been eating things with tomatoes in a little recently at uni so we're increasing them at home now too (mostly for my benefit :D) to see if it has any effect..... fingers crossed...

although I'm a little worried that I've put too much in - 2 tins for a 6 portion chilli - will report back!

Pasta salad with spring onions, capers and mustard mayonnaise. It was made of things I have and tasted a bit wrong tbh.

Bad uni canteen news. It's going to be another week at least!:mad::facepalm::mad:

So for tea tonight, instead of our planned celebratory canteen excursion I'm going to bake some chicken with beans and tomatoes, with spicy stuff and some fresh coriander on the top to serve. With brown rice, sauteed veggies and a cucumber salad.

I had leftover chinese for breakfast....so might do everything back to front today and have porridge for dinner (seeing as how my daughter asked for that for breakfast but I couldn't be arsed to make it then :p ).... :hmm:

I made a VAT of chilli last night. So, more of that! will try to get some broccoli to have on the side for tonight and some baking potatoes to ring in the changes tomorrow
