Why is everyone having fancy dinners today?
It's a long weekend. What other excuse is needed? That's Christmas, not Easter! Didn't think Easter was a big deal anymore. How wrong I was. Went to Sainsbury's earlier and it was closed. Fucking god botherers spoiling my sausage purchasing!

None. I'm envious! It's a long weekend. What other excuse is needed?
If you were nearer you'd have been more than welcome.None. I'm envious!
Sounds like a distinct lack of forward planning right there.Agreed, I had to drive 8 miles for fags and beer
in sure my shepherd's pie will suffice. It's going to have six different types of mince in it

Textbook yorkshires, sheo, FUCKING TEXTBOOK!!!!
Whereas MINE on the other hand where a massive failure ....I didn't have any plain flour but I'd already mixed the eggs and milk, so I experimented with SR flour ........UH UH! *shakes head*
Tbf, they still tasted like yorkshires and the kids still ate them
So, there we go
Okay...steak mince, lamb mince, pork mince, turkey mince, what are the other two though?in sure my shepherd's pie will suffice. It's going to have six different types of mince in it
It weirdly did, probably because I don't have massive roasts with family any other time, and also because we had turkey. It was an immense dinner... boned stuffed and rolled turkey, roasties, parsnips, broccoli, carrots and neeps, pigs in blankets, bread sauce and gravyIt did feel a bit like Christmas as it goes. It was nice.
