Roast lamb here too but a massive cheats roast.
The lamb was tesco frozen lamb shanks, carrots, broccoli, roast spuds, aunt bessies yorkshires and asda garlicky stuffing.
In my defence, you couldn't make the lamb shanks for less than it cost to buy them ready marinated and they're really nice.
I've made yorkshires once and it was a fucking disaster. Also, we never have eggs in the house so it's cheaper and easier to buy them. I think mr s can make them but he never offers.
I do feel like a big fake though. : o

It weirdly did, probably because I don't have massive roasts with family any other time, and also because we had turkey. It was an immense dinner... boned stuffed and rolled turkey, roasties, parsnips, broccoli, carrots and neeps, pigs in blankets, bread sauce and gravy

On a bit of break...
I did roast lamb on Friday and today the ends of meat on the bone went into a large pan with onions, pearl barley, carrots, garlic, rosemary etc. Very nice.

I only had pavlova and a profiterole. I made the pavlova and it was LUSH.
Think Im gonna have a crack at profiteroles next time theres a family dinner, we always have profiteroles. They arent *that* difficult are they?
