They are cakes like tiffin and caramel short bread and mint aero cake. Norn Irish catholic mums will go to the protestant childrens play groups and coffee mornings just to get their hands on it.

We got chicken out we have to use so we’re having creamy mushroom chicken and wild rice. We forgot to buy veg so just that unless there’s something in the freezer.

Mr Looby is cooking but there’s currently silence from the kitchen and he’s watching the World Cup draw on his phone so fuck knows when he’ll start. I heard chuckling though.

Nettle and wild garlic soup. Made with all homegrown veg, including the stock, and eaten with homemade sourdough bread that I grind my own rye flour for, just for extra foodie eco wanker smugness

I'm having a ready meal tonight tbf (cauliflower & paneer curry and chickpea, spinach & lentil dal for anyone interested) and I think one night last week I just had two massive packets of crisps

Oh god I've just realised that I ate the 2nd helping of OH's quorn and veggie bolognese instead of my meat one - I'd better buy him something nice to have for his breakfast when we go shopping in the morning.

I did a decent job of the quorn one mind you - I mean I did notice when I was about halfway through and probably would have noticed sooner if I hadn't been so tired, but it was pretty nice. Unfortunately quorn does not agree with my insides, hope I am not going to be up half the night
