have you marinated the feta yourself or bought it like that? Sounds like something interesting to do! Saying that I did make my own saukraut in the NY and I'm too scared to eat it at the moment in case I poison myselfGood old sweet potatoes with feta cheese (marinated in olive oil, garlic, chilli, coriander seeds and fennel seeds). Probably saukraut and other side salad to go with.
It actually turned out quite meaty - not always the caseI've had that Lidl pie I think - the ones I got didn't have a lot in the way of chunks of steak, it was more kind of a thick stew type thing, but it tasted fucking lush so it was all good.
I used to make something similar 30 years ago. But I used tomato puree. Ketchup would be grim!Fake pizzas made with buttered sliced white bread, ketchup, slice of sandwich ham, grated cheese, oregano, black pepper. Oven cooked for ten mins. Not my idea, but actually pretty tasty.
Nah! It really worked.. only a thin layer and the sweetness made it.I used to make something similar 30 years ago. But I used tomato puree. Ketchup would be grim!
Oh no, I do love it, it's not just 'worthy'Yeah I often have a side of worthy green stuff that isn't very interesting to eat, but I swiftly chomp through it and get on with the nice bits of the meal
Steak, chips, onions rings, peas, maybe a bit of salad. Might whip up a stilton sauce for the steak as I've still got stilton left over from Christmas.
Glass of red.
I need to do this tomorrow and clear out the veg graveyard in the fridge, which seems to consist mostly of courgettes and celerySome slightly spicy "all the unused veg from the fridge with a tin of tomatoes" soup and a fish finger sandwich.
