What's for tea tonight? (#8)

i've seen loads of places on the net that advise against substituting fresh for ground. i hope they're wrong.

What we do with a LOT of new potatoes?
Got about 1kg that needs using.

Have some peas and a little bit of cheese. Plenty of herbs and bits.

Salmon parcel with lemon and butter, some wierd cabbage with garlic, mustard seeds and cumin and potatoes with mayonnaise. Very extremely nice.

Chicken Thai green curry with a really soupy sauce and tonnes of fresh coriander and brown basmati rice.
Hopefully a mini magnum for pud :D

Fried baby gnocchi tossed with chopped fresh tomatoes, olives, mushroom, pesto and chilli, with parmesan on top.

A ridiculous tortilla, ridiculous in that it's 16 eggs, loads of mixed veg, about 10 sweet potatoes cut up and seasoning, made so big so as we have some for lunch tomorrow - but it just looks ridiculous as my missus is making it.

That's pretty much a quesadilla, isn't it? I do mine in a hot frying pan rather than the oven - you have to flip it over though.

YES, defo! I LOVE em!

I make THESE - with black beans though, not kidney beans - and done in a pan, as Ms T says (they won't fall apart, soj - the MUSH inside makes it all stick together, iyswim :D )!

Sausage chunks/mushrooms/onion in a creme fraiche/stock sauce thing for the kids (cos there's only two sausages left) - prob with baby potatoes and broccoli - and soup for me. :-|
I think it's carrot and lentil :hmm: - don't really fancy it but I got a tub out of the freezer a couple of days ago so best eat it.
Might put some ham in it to make it more exciting. :D
I've also got a big pile of spinach/rapini/chinese broc in the fridge that I need to eat too.
God, I can't wait till dinner time, lol. :(

Cream and jam doughnuts for pudding, mind.

Last night ended up being a warm mackerel salad: green beans, peas, spinach, rocket, mackerel and a couple of new pots all mixed together with garlic and rosemary dressing... was really nice.

Tonight probably an omelette.

Took some haddock fillets out of the freezer this morning, I think I'll make some pesto to put on them and bake them in the oven.
With jacket spuds and peas.
