What's for tea tonight? (#8)

It's alright, not pretentious, chilled out, relaxed.. jeans and t-shirt is fine. Really nice staff that explained anything you wanted explaining. Good advice on portion sizing etc.

I think we will check this out. I don't usually eat that expensively but with our anniversary 3 months away, this sounds perfect.
And to say their cuts beats wagyu - I'm very eager to discover!!!
 
Yeah, I said no to pudding but they knew it was for my birthday, so the waitress said: Aww, no? What would you have if you could fit it in?

I told her, it turned up 10 mins later with a candle and Happy Birthday in chocolate sauce on the plate... for free :)

It was a peanut butter shortbread filled with melted chocolate with peanut and caramel ice cream on top.. I ate the lot!
 
roast potatoes, carrots, squash, onions, stuffing and salad and a fabulous tahinisaucenotgravydressing. all eaten over a co-op interview. even if i don't get in, i'm going to be invading regularly for dinner :)
 
Left some of yesterday's chicken in it's marinade for my daughter to have in a wrap with some salad tonight (was just me and the boy who had it last night) and I've taken a portion of lasagne out of the freezer for myself to have with the very last lot of peas and some broccoli.

Banana ice cream milkshakes for pudding (with any ripe blueberries/strawberries chucked in, too)....*slurp* :cool:

Got home late as had to stay and work until I'd got something fixed so just rigatone with chilli and tomato sauce last night.

Tonight will be chippy tea after picking the biggest littlun up from Brownies.
 
Potato salad with chives and paprika, green salad with cucumber, tomato salad, and fried halloumi :cool:

Then a mint tea, most of a family-sized bar of cadbury's caramel, and a bit of a nap
 
A salad of spinach, rocket, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, avocado, olives and mozzarella pearls.
With chips. :D
 
Gnocchi with asparagus, tenderstem broc and lemon zest in a herby cream cheese sauce. Mini gu passionfruit and mango cheesecakes for pud.
 
I had red pepper, courgette, cabbage, other cabbage, sesame seeds, hoisin sauce, broad beans all stir fried up. Now on red wine and cheesecake.
 
Lentil & sausage stew, which I cocked up by putting way too much salt in.... At least the strawberries were lovely.
