Running down the freezer here too, so beef stew and potatoes for the grown ups, pasta with cheese sauce for the girl and pasta with prawns for the boy.

We've been away since Thursday: drove back this evening and stopped en route at a little place and shared this amazing poke bowl with my kids, plus some waffles with strawberries. Who then fell asleep so I drove the last 2.5 hours chatting away to myself

I had some peanut butter to use up - because my girl turns her nose up at smooth - so took inspiration from the thread and have made African peanut and sweet potato stew - one lot with chicken thighs and another with chickpeas (also got an extra 3 portion pot for the freezer out of that). Rice and cabbage to go with it.

Rest of the scones for pudding.

Yep. That's what happened.
I've just finished a huge pot of yoghurt just to cool down the mouth.

Fake Jambalaya thing made with lamb chorizo, chicken, aubergine and spicy tomato sauce. Served with rice rather than cooking them together because of Small Girl's many and varied dislikes. lemon and raspberry muffins for afters.
