What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Must be Charlie Bigham's day.

Starter: lightly salted (my arse) kettle chips with taramasalata and a herb yoghurt dip
Main course: Charlie Bigham's macaroni cheese, peas, PSB
Pudding if I can face it: Gu dark chocolate and salted caramel moose.

(I made the mistake of going to the shop when hungry but fuck it, today is my Friday.)
 
We've got some really nice Jersey Royals and Asparagus. I got a couple of lamb steaks for us to share and a rump steak for me.

Im not sure I've ever cooked lamb steaks. Does anyone have a favourite way? Was thinking a little bit of mustard and rosemary, but open for suggestions.

I like lamb done with rosemary & garlic, then a quick sauce made by de-glazing the pan with a splosh of red wine.

We're having steak tonight - thin cut sirloin steaks, skin-on fries, a green salad and some onion rings if we've got some lurking in the freezer.
