OH is cooking toad in the hole. I can smell it's going to be good. With runner beans and red or white wine gravy (we had an argument about which it should be, I guess I'll find out if I won when dinner arrives).

I can't decide between carrot and lentil soup with garrrrrlic bread, or chips and veggie cheeseburger. On the one hand, the carrots will end up rubbery if I don't use them soon, but on the other, the baps are out of date on Friday. Hmm.

Decaff tea and dark choc digestives for afters, either way.

A quick stocktake of the fridge shows that I've got a good bit of cauli to use up, so probably a sort of Thai style yellow curry with cauli and baked aubergine with rice

Well yeah a little. I was feeling a bit sorry for myself because my knee was really sore after going to the osteopath.......and it was buy one get one free....so I don't have to cook tonight either

random creation from fridge / cupboard of veggie sausages, mushrooms, onion, sweetcorn and tinned tomatoes cooked in wok with various spices. not sure what it's called but it's simmering and smells nice

Tinned beef curry mixed with a tin of red kidney beans, and cabbage, peas, courgettes and celery gently fried with turmeric, with rice.

Soft dried apricots with cornflakes, oats and UHT milk.
