What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Last night we had a big roast dinner - was planning it for Sunday but we did our shopping early in the week to avoid the last minute crowds (good job too, I have received news that there is a mile long queue outside of Morrison's this afternoon!), and wanted to use stuff while it was nice and fresh!

So I had roast chicken, he had a tuna steak. Roast spuds, stuffing, yorkshire pud, cauliflower cheese, and asparagus lightly fried in butter.

Tonight I am going to do pastry parcels for us - coley, asparagus and parsley sauce for him; chicken, bacon and asparagus with a creamy gravy for me. Served with leftover stuffing, cauli cheese, sautéed cauli-greens (had a lot of leaf on it, waste not want not etc), and potato of some description! Haven't decided yet.
 
A Chinese chicken curry I think. It was going to be fajitas but we don’t have any sour cream.

I’m also making ciabatta (first time and almost certainly going to be terrible) and chocolate marble cake from a packet. That’ll also be bad too I expect. 😄 I felt really poorly halfway through making an almighty mess so it was all a bit rushed and half hearted.

(How long does cooked chicken keep safely in the fridge btw? Due to lack of choice I ended up with a larger one than usual!)
