What's for tea tonight? (#8)

I did that thing where I cooked stuff that's gonna be for my lunch tomorrow when I'm at work and now I'm not bothered. I did a bloody big shop to day and all I really want is some lentil soup but cant be arsed now. Will ponder...

I think we're gonna be having the feta-stuffed roast peppers tonight. Bit pissed off that I forgot the pesto, but we're gonna have it with couscous instead, and salad.

Peanut butter Ben and Jerry's for afters. God I fucking love this stuff soooo much. Scared meself looking at the calorie count on it :D One gobful is sommat like 4000 calories :D

Fucksake - lockdown fucking with my tea plans. We ended up having the last of the rhubarb and ginger gin sat in the yard, so ended up having penne in spinach and mascarpone sauce with toasty pine nuts.

However, - given I had to go booze shopping for the weekend, I picked up some pesto, so we will be having the roasted peppers WITH pesto pasta tonight, hurray! :D

Kitchari - which is an Indian dish of rice and lentils and an ancestor of kedgeree.

Ooo that sounds interesting Maggot - have you got a recipe for it?

Yes, it's a Meera Sodha one.

I would say that 300g of rice is too much, better with 200g. Any old rice will do, doesn't have to be wild, also any lentils, as long as they are cooked properly. Also the yoghurt bit is optional, perfectly good without.
