Lamb was disappointing. It was cooked beautifully, moist, fell off the bone, but couldn't taste the flavours in the glaze/marinade - they were all masked by lemon... far too much lemon juice in the recipe imo. I doubled the amount of garlic, but couldn't taste it, or the cumin or the pomegranate molasses
But, there's loads left for shawarmas tomorrow
Well, the lamb didn't taste of lemon, it was all in the juices, but I still wanted a really delicious sauce. The boy was very happy though, and tomorrow will be better... tender lamb all wrapped up with tahinioh noes.
But yes I bet left overs will be yummy
They plates would not have been my first choice but they were reduced to £2 each in Morleys and they fit in our very limited cupboard space.
