What stupid shit has Trump done today?

nah they'll just cut to a scene of Barak Obama in the shower and carry on from there

Aye - they went from the unravelling of Nixon, with a brief hiatus of 'decent' Carter before continuing with the super-exploiters of Reagan-Bush-Clinton-Bush etc. No reason why Trump-era shouldn't be replaced with a short stint by a supposed, and ineffectual progressive, with then another 30 years of the same neocolonialism...Which will be good news for billionaires and their death-squad leaders everywhere.

Trump in 2016: "Other countries are going to stop laughing at us."

Trump in 2019: Asks China for help against Joe Biden and is publicly rejected .

I guess he'll try to spin this as "China wants Sleepy Joe Biden to Be President so they can walk all over him!"

Subpoena time.

Congress is now demanding all documents relating to the call and arms to Ukraine - Trump has apparently told them to fuck off.

More phone calls with international leaders fun:

In a summer 2018 call with Prime Minister Theresa May, Trump harangued the British leader about her country’s contribution to NATO. He then disputed her intelligence community’s conclusion that Putin’s government had orchestrated the attempted murder and poisoning of a former Russian spy on British soil.

“Trump was totally bought into the idea there was credible doubt about the poisoning,” said one person briefed on the call. “A solid 10 minutes of the conversation is spent with May saying it’s highly likely and him saying he’s not sure.”

A second whistleblower has turned up. Reports are incomplete but it seems this one heard the call first hand.
With just a little luck there might be enough to force the republican senate to turn on him

He capitalises "Countries"...screaming for help.

Lots of right-wing Americans do this now, especially older ones. I actually looked into it a while back, seems to have started with the Tea Party as far as I can tell, then Trump doing it all the time made it even more popular:
Slate’s Use of Your Data

The theory seems to be that they're imitating the constitution/declaration of independence, which were written around the time that people stopped using caps whenever they felt like it for emphasis. Since the Founding Fathers are Gods, it's the duty of all Real Americans to Imitate them in all Regards.

Oh yes, 'the old second whistle-blower trick'. And as a result of being represented by the same law firm coincidentally, whistle-blower No 2 should be ideally placed to cover up the credibility cracks in the whistle-blower No 1's story. You have to laugh.
