What stupid shit has Trump done today?

Mueller: "If we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment."

The REPORT is a clear condemnation of Trump, basically saying they would have concluded Trump should face charges, but they we're doing so because he's the sitting president.

A few things come out from this whole mess:

There is enough evidence against Trump to impeach him, that followed by criminal charges

It's time for a new act, maybe even a new amendment to the constitution that states all elected official, upon taking their oath of office, are also under oath to tell the truth from that moment to the day they leave office. That addition would have stopped Trump a long time ago, and would preclude the possibility of another Trump type twat ever getting as far as this fucker has.

There must be a new mechanism put in place that allows a sitting president to face trial/other legal proceedings

Look, and get this, they couldn't invade Saudi because:
  • They'd have had to fight someone with modern weapons
  • They'd have lost the sales for all those modern weapons
  • Way too much oil they didn't need to invade to get their hands around
  • The rest of the Muslim would would have thrown their lot in against the US if the Americans went anywhere near the holiest site in Islam
Afghanistan was poor, well fucked anyway, had no serious military, and nobody gave a shit about them. Perfect target

Trump would easily have managed, but I'm unsure May would have been as stupid and corrupt as Blair when it came to US invasions - errrr, maybe

tbf Saudi are the poster boy for all the kit and no idea if they were remotely competent the Yemeni civil war wouldn't have dragged on for years

Meanwhile, self-styled armed "patriot" militia seem to be taking over some areas of the US-Mexico border, and it looks like they are capturing and detaining refugees trying to cross then handing them to Border patrol. WTF?

It's only a matter of time before one of the bigoted arsewipes gets an itchy trigger finger and there will be a massacre. :(

ON THE BORDER / Civilian border patrols across the country have helped polarize political debate over immigration reform. As part of an occasional series, The Chronicle spends an evening on patrol with small group in California.

So this is what the redacted full Mueller Report looks like. Even with all the censoring, there's enough shit in there to investigate slowly over the next 18 months, whether or not that's all about impeachment, so the bastard, his team and the GOP never get a minute's rest. First move has to be the House of Representatives getting the full report. This is bollocks.

Congress is after the full report and has issued a subpoena to get it - Given the justice department, or at least the bit run by the white house, is a Trump lie machine, I can believe the redacted bits are far more likely to be blacked out to protect Trump rather than for legal reasons.
The white house made far too big a deal of telling the world the special council suggested what content be restricted for it not to be a lie.

Subpoena issued for full Mueller report

A subpoena demanding the release of the full report into Russian meddling during the 2016 election has been issued, amid claims the current version "leaves most of Congress in the dark".

Democrat Jerry Nadler, chairman of the House judiciary committee, argued they are entitled to an unredacted version.

Mr Trump's legal team argues it completely exonerates the president.

The Department of Justice has reacted by calling the subpoena "premature and unnecessary".

Seems Trump called the NSA to ask them to interfere in the investigation

Trump 'called on spy chiefs for help as probe began'

Two months before special counsel Robert Mueller was appointed in the spring of 2017, President Donald Trump picked up the phone and called the head of the largest US intelligence agency.

Mr Trump told Mike Rogers, director of the National Security Agency, that news stories alleging that Mr Trump's 2016 White House campaign had ties to Russia were false and the president asked whether Mr Rogers could do anything to counter them.

Mr Rogers and his deputy Richard Ledgett, who was present for the call, were taken aback.
Afterward, Mr Ledgett wrote a memo about the conversation and Mr Trump's request. He and Mr Rogers signed it and stashed it in a safe.

Mr Ledgett said it was the "most unusual thing he had experienced in 40 years of government service".

Trump is doing a serious shithead move with this one.
He's basically taking major regional allies, and telling them to go fuck themselves. China and Russia are hunting for regional friends, and this might well hand them a few, or at the very least alienate the US a little bit more.

Trump administration set to end sanction exemptions for nations importing Iranian oil: report

The Trump administration is set to inform five nations that they will no longer be exempt from U.S. sanctions if they continue to import oil from Iran, reports said Sunday.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo plans to announce the policy move on Monday, which would no longer renew sanctions waivers for allies Japan, South Korea, and Turkey. The other countries no longer exempt are China and India.

Turkey and India are the most likely to get fucked off, and perhaps even fuck off from a lot of US influence.
