Er, meant francais
I thought sorrel was a liquor made in the Caribbean? As well as a herb, that is.
Thanks, I found the same page after I postedI think the drink is made from hibiscus flowers, called flor de Jamaica in Mexico (and possibly elsewhere in C and S America). I don't know why it's called sorrel - maybe that's the name for hibiscus in the Caribbean? But afaik a completely different thing.
edit: "Sometimes referred to as Jamaican sorrel, or Caribbean sorrel, sorrel is the common name given to the sepals of a hibiscus plant called Roselle, (or Hibiscus sabdariffa if you want to get technical). It’s important to note that there is a leafy green herb that is also called sorrel, but it is unrelated to this plant."

While at the Polish shop I grabbed a jar of salted sorrel - it tastes relatively inoffensive - by all accounts it's used to make soup - in Wales as well as Poland...

Got some Patty Pan squash in my veg box. They look cool. Haven't tried them yet.
Tasty but much the same as other squash ime.
sea urchins . Delicate browny squidgy type ones that taste of the sea and something you cant quite put your finger on but are something quite different from anything I have ever tasted before.
I had marmite, mushroom , but not bogies. I'll try one later. It's bogies. The thing you can't quite put your finger on is bogies. I've eaten sea urchin and it definitely tasted like bogies.
