I looked these up yesterday - they are also known as loquats? I think the trees grow in the UK too. They had something that looked similar in a shop near me but labelled something close to medler which was confusing as to me medlars are small angry appley thingsI live in a small market town in Essex where good food goes to die. But we have a weekly market and the fruit and veg stall does civilised places the rest of the week, so sometimes they have really exciting stuff. So! Today I have tried nespulla - weird little fruit that is a little bit like apricot but much less nice

but that's ok because I like trying new things too.
I also have something called purple backed geranium (紫背天葵) and morning glory which I'm going to flash fry in the wok with some basic Chinese ingredients. The geranium smells disconcertingly like normal geranium...
The MOTH ones? Those are good though I found the expresso martini one to be kinda rocket fuel.I barely drink alcohol these days and when I did it was usually stuff like K cider or supermarket own brand fortified wine, but someone gave me a few of those little premixed cocktail cans and they're pretty good. So far I've had an espresso martini and a piña colada and there's an old fashioned, a mojito and something else I can't remember still to try.
Yeah that's the ones. How d'you mean, because of the alcohol or the coffee? I enjoyed the one I had for breakfastThe MOTH ones? Those are good though I found the expresso martini one to be kinda rocket fuel.
Both. Maybe as I have no sense of smell what I mainly experienced was burn.Yeah that's the ones. How d'you mean, because of the alcohol or the coffee? I enjoyed the one I had for breakfast
The black ones are the gateway to the green ones IMO. Took a while but now I like those big nocellara onesblack olives. Never liked olives really, just the oil. But tried black olives on a pizza, a revelation. Jury is still out on green ones.

Kombucha - and last time
Someone’s crying, lordKombucha - and last time
Not very exciting but I hadn't tried biryani til a couple of months ago)from the local takeaway) was a bit hot for me so I added some milk but the Aldi vegetable microwave one is lovely imo
I've tried a number of pre mixed cocktails and these are the first ones that taste close to what I'd get in a bar or make myself. The mojito and margarita are firm faves and I agree on the espresso martini. They have launched a few more since I last looked that I'll have to give a try.The MOTH ones? I'll admit I haven't tried the old fashioned or the negroni as I always have the ingredients to make my ownThe Old Fashioned is quite a nice drink but only one or two of them.
I've never been fond of getting pissed on sweet stuff.
That's my feeling too. Sorta halfway between a proper version and the wkd version.I've tried a number of pre mixed cocktails and these are the first ones that taste close to what I'd get in a bar or make myself.
Came here to say I tried nocellara for the first time recently and now have an expensive habitThe black ones are the gateway to the green ones IMO. Took a while but now I like those big nocellara ones
