What does Marine Le Pen's victory in France's European parliamentary elections mean?

I hope I am asking this in the appropriate forum.

What does Marine Le Pen's seeming victory in France's European parliamentary elections mean?

I'm asking this as a technical question since I'm so unfamiliar with government(s) in Europe.

What does this allow Marine Le Pen or her party to do which could somehow go against what Macron wants done?

Thanks from this American!

It's still just exit polls ATM isn't it?

It's good PR for them but the figures I've seen quoted actually has their vote slightly down on 2014. They've continued to cement their vote but taking it beyond that 20-25% mark remains the challenge.
Macron is hugely unpopular and unless something changes he's out at the next election.
Hmmm, still plenty of time to go but I could see a repeat of 2017, Macron just making it through to the last round where he beats the RN again. As unpopular as he is the PS and LR still seem even more unpopular.

Anyway I can almost write tomorrows summary the papers now - far right didn't manage to breakthrough - conveniently ignoring the fact that the supposed "underperformance" is as much a fiction as the overhyped "breakthrough".

It means your grandpa's holiday in Normandy 75 years ago was all for nothing.

Yup across a lot of Europe its been a steady ten year cycle of rise /entrenchment that wont go away despite a sigh of relief that there is no overnight break through.

Hungry has about 20 seats all right leaning.

France, well Macrone is a mess. Only way out resign and new elections by the end of the year
