What connects Brexit, the DUP, dark money and a Saudi prince?

"This story has all the makings of a John le Carré thriller but democracy on this island needs facts, not fiction.

To recap briefly: two days before the Brexit referendum last June, the Metro freesheet in London and other British cities came wrapped in a four-page glossy propaganda supplement urging readers to vote Leave. Bizarrely, it was paid for by the DUP, even though Metro does not circulate in Northern Ireland. At the time, the DUP refused to say what the ads cost or where the money came from."

But mow we know. It came ultimately from a shadowy, Jihadist Saudi Prince.

What connects Brexit, the DUP, dark money and a Saudi prince?

I was just gonna let that lie... no big deal in terms of british politics... but today Arlene is leading a pile-in on jeremy Corbyn ...

Arlene Foster to say Jeremy Corbyn 'beyond pale' for past support of republicans - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk

If Arlene thinks she is 'doing her bit for the Union' by dredging up Corbyn's links with 'terrorists'* who put the guns away 20 years ago... perhaps that nice Mr McDonnell might respond by questioning her and her Party's links to current, up-to-date, headhacking Jihadists

*By 'support for terrorists' I assumes she means Corbyn's long-term, consistent and principled support for a negotiated political solution in the north of Ireland and his equally long-term, consistent and principled support of those seeking justice.

By the way, does this campaign of the last few days mean the tories are actually worried about/rattled by the recent upswing for Labour?

Or are they simply just making double-sure that all their anti-Corbyn boxes are ticked?

They're asking why labour won't just roll over and die
