What are you having for breakfast?

In a bid to not eat every last crumb of the granola before the week is out, I had some homebaked wholemeal toast this morning, lathered in butter and Scottish honey.

2 cups of Asda's lush Peruvian coffee.

Oh, and a few blueberries, and a spoon of natural yoghurt too.

Emphasis on the coffee...
Amazing how you can adapt to less.
The other 375 kcals didn't add that much to the experience.
The biggest challenge will be how to keep the bread edible after 4 weeks ...
Given the point at which my weight has stabilised, I needed to shave 100 kcals or so off per day - if I was prepared to wait 2 years to get there ...
I don't actually wake up ravenous 14 hours or so after dinner and I'm still not very hungry 8 hours after breakfast when I eat it ...

Two poached eggs from a special breed of chicken. They’re a very light green colour. The hens live outdoors and as free range as is possible. We know the breeder and he gave us these to try.

They’re very nice, not special enough to be worth seeking out but certainly good enough to buy when I find them.

Do you have a freezer for the bread?
Just a fridge ...
I suppose once it dries out it will keep - and I've even given up toasting it now so I could spray it with water before nuking it :D
It's fairly well dominated by peanut butter and yeast extract in any case.
It will be a challenge when I bake my monthly loaf and only get to eat 1/4 slice !
Perhaps I will bake it during the day instead.
