What are the top five dodgiest songs from the eighties?

I have a new thread leader, so far unrivalled in its unbearably vomit0inducing schmaltz and Gorgonzola-like cheesiness.

Yes folks, I have decided to inflict upon you the ultimate 80's ballad. I've been sadistic enough to find, to your undoubted horror and disgust, Mr Glenn Medeiros:

ive got one for you. it lasts 3.55 - see if you can make it to the end

Made it.

The first 30 seconds are actually quite promising. But oh dear oh dear after that. :D

Still,

Boom boom boom

let's go back to my room

so we can do it all night

and you can make me feel right

Genius.
I was singing along by the end. :D

ComeOnYouSpuuurrrsss.....

The first of Hoddle's crimes!
Another Spurs connection

^hard to dislike Gazza for this though - i think he came 1st in all time favourite england player poll the other day - theres a gazza inside us all. I Am Gazzticus!

ive jsut spent the last hour watching italo disco videos on youtube - god help me - anyone of which could go on this thread.

These two fellas are really doing it for me, each in their own special way

thats the problem with men - they just dont know how to talk

one of the upsides in the space that opened up in the 80s is that there was a lot more room for gay men to do their thing in pop - the last 20 years pop has been a lot more hetro-fied. in fact most of the charts is just soft (hetro) porn these days

Roland Rat ffs. :D

The Krankees ffs.

Oh it's 'orrible being in love when you're eight and half.

I bet she never lived that down.

The Snowmen Hokey Cokey.

Fog on the Tyne wasn't the 80s./QUOTE]

*talking xmas albums someone in my family pulled out 'Barry Manilow sings Xmas Shit' CD a few years back - on the liner notes it goes: "Based on an original concept by Barry Manilow"! What a cock. BAsed on an original concept by Barry Manilow is now a running joke with us
