I cannot fault it, I almost shed a tear when I hear it because it reminds me of a great past but is still nigh on perfect. Does anyone eslse either relate or know of a group that conjoures as much feel/emotion?

Yeah, in terms of that sort of student-dancey type stuff I'd much rather listen to Dubnobasswithmyheadman, Second toughes in the Infants or even Dig Your Own Hole.

You have no idea how wrong you are. Even the artwork made me cringe back then. Good album but it was very mainstream and played safe. Good if you were 15 years old and refused to tidy your bedroom.

Maybe it depends to a certain extent at what point you first heard it. I only recently got a copy and whilst it sounds pretty good, it didn't grab my bollocks and scream "genius" in my face. It's maybe a little long, although I listened to "Selected Ambient Works" yesterday, which is 5 minutes longer but frankly it could have carried on forever as far as I was concerned.

I absolutely love Leftism and it is my favourite album of all time. That first track is so beautiful and makes me feel so nostalgic it does my head in.
