But I’ve seen it suggested that Alexander is basically a big ball of enthusiastic golden retriever energy, and that is totally the vibe I get from him. Particularly in his leaping out the coffin and the backwards singing challenge.

He is, exactly as you say, a golden retriever puppy.

I'm enjoying how you've taken against him, Pilch, but I actually quite like him.

He seems like a genuinely nice bloke, and he's clearly far more intelligent than the others, though that's not saying much.

He doesn't spout nonsense theories and I loved the way he just laughed at Leanne when she obnoxiously told him to "bring it on".

Other than "Let's say I went first, I didn't, but let's say I did", I think he's done well.

I reckon when he was a diplomat he was successful as no-one wants to deal with a burbling Hugh Grant caricature of an Englishman. 'Oh fuck it, give him what he wants or Andie McDowell will turn up in a minute'.
