The Virgin Mary

Seems we've covered all these points. Happy Feast Day. It is truly a happy and good day

Words of Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, to Juan Diego:

“Listen, put it into your heart, my youngest and dearest son, that the thing that frightens you, the thing that afflicts you, is nothing: do not let it disturb you…Am I not here, I who am your Mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not the source of your joy? Are you not in the hollow of my mantle, in the crossing of my arms? Do you need something more? Let nothing else worry you or disturb you.”

If you can't find comfort, hope, peace and succor in these words, maybe, well just maybe you need to rethink things...

Nice, but anyone could have just wrote that. Any proof, citations that she actually said all that?

So, Mary didn't say that.

Why say she did?
This response really stumps me, krtek.
Juan Diego said She said it.
He took a big risk by saying She said it.

Hearsay, hmm maybe...
But it would probably be admissible testimony under the hearsay exemption of "statement against interest"...

It stumps me that you claimed they are -

"Words of Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, to Juan Diego"

How can you claim that these are her words?

They are someone else's words.

Cromwell prosecuted Catholics for being Catholic. I understand Shippou-Sensei was not being completely serious, but "being Catholic" would be the only crime Mary could be indicted for.

For, as you know, She was and is free from sin from the moment of Her Immaculate Conception (that Feast Day is celebrated on December 8)

What the fuck is "sin"?
