The Virgin Mary

Cromwell prosecuted Catholics for being Catholic. I understand Shippou-Sensei was not being completely serious, but "being Catholic" would be the only crime Mary could be indicted for.

For, as you know, She was and is free from sin from the moment of Her Immaculate Conception (that Feast Day is celebrated on December 8)

Tax Evasion: In most legal systems, not paying taxes is a crime. However, not all religious systems may specifically classify the act of evading taxes as a sin, particularly if the evasion does not involve deceit or theft.

Jaywalking: In many places, jaywalking, or crossing the street outside of a designated crosswalk, is a minor legal offense. Most religions do not address such specific actions and generally focus on broader ethical principles.

Speeding: Driving over the legal speed limit is a punishable offense in many regions. This action is typically not addressed directly in religious texts, which are more likely to promote general principles of safety and respect for others' well-being.

Parking Violations: Illegally parking a vehicle is a legal offense but does not typically correlate with religious teachings, unless viewed under broader ethical principles like respect for laws and order.

Violating Copyright Laws: Copying or distributing copyrighted material without permission is a legal crime in many countries. The moral view of this from a religious perspective may vary and might not specifically be considered a sin unless it involves deceit or theft.

So bcuster thinks something is likely to be true because someone takes a great risk by saying it.

Calling him a moron would be an insult to morons.

ouirdeaux continues with the ad hominem attacks..

NB: I won't respond in kind, but I may report your posts to the moderation staff..

It's almost noon here; I'm off to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. How I wish ouirdeaux could accompany me...

To be fair most courts still use eye witness statements.
Your a bit stuck on what counts for evidence in the days before DNA and CCTV.

Not that this means it is good evidence. Just what would be expected.

fair points, but I was speaking only to hearsay and witness testimony..
But thank you for alerting me that are much more compelling forms of admissible evidence.

So I risk losing my right to post here by insulting you? By your 'logic', that must make my statement true. Thanks for acknowledging it, O qualifiied one.

Go ahead & insult me. You're an entertaining poster, to be sure...

Yes. It is very beautiful chanting in Meso-American Native language set to the musical notes on the Tilma. It is beautiful, enchanting and hypnotic.
A masterwork, imo...

Ok, well as stated before, I don't mind religious music, so I'll give it a listen tomorrow...

(Way past bedtime here)

At ENORMOUS risk to myself, I dodged across five busy lanes of traffic to hear Mary and then dodged it all to get back again. She said, and I quote, “you’re a cunt.” Not my words, custer. What are to going to do? Many Bothans died to bring you this information.

Mary was not a Roman Catholic. There was no Roman Catholic Church in her lifetime.
