I've done a MSc in a clinical medical field that includes modules on research, and yes I don't get anything at more than a very basic level in some areas, it's fucking complicated so I defer to the people that are experts and have spent decades specialising in the relevant fields.
What's your background in understanding it all?

Just the other day i came on here and posted a thing somewhere about how my close & treasured friend has just fallen in love with a hippie vaccine-refuser & i will need to try to like him and am worried because I know that my prejudice is a problem, my paranoid assumption that he must be a conspiracist nut with a little kernel of antisemitism at the heart of it just under the surface.

I've not read all your posts and don't plan to since I'm not a masochist. I had follow up questions to this I was going to ask but I reckon Rob Ray and bimble are right so I'm going to leave it here instead.
Having an MSc means absolutely nothing, nothing at all if can't get your head around a very simple fact there is no one who is unqualified around here telling you that you are wrong.
I don't know exactly what your profession entails, but if it involves patients, I do worry for them, if you can't accept their choices after taking onboard your advice.
My doctor advised me to take Statins. I don't.
My doctor advised me to take blood pressure tablets. I do.
My doctor doesn't tell me that I'm plain wrong not to take Statins ... OK granted, because he/she might not have the time, but fucking hell there has to be a point which people just simply respect other people's choices, even if that choice is the "wrong" choice, because sometimes, people don't have the time to explain all of their reasoning.
Yes, Because I made pains to explain that I'm not a conspiracy theorist when it comes to globalists, because I simply point people in the direction of the globalists rather than showiing people how I joined the dots. Yes of course patients get a choice, even to make unwise decisions - assuming capacity. TBH I couldn't really care less about you and vaccines, although I think your reasoning is clearly nonsense and you don't know what you're talking about, and you make over-confident pronouncements that show you don't, and are also completely unaware of this.
The Great Reset stuff is more of a concern, you've fallen for a complete load of conspiracy theory nonsense, that also has no evidence behind it. The reasons that worries me (and are broader than just being about you) are:
1) It usually leads to dodgy politics, often racist and reactionary ones.
2) It misidentifies the problem, and so lets the real problem/s off the hook.
Both those are real political problems in the modern world, and a huge obstacle we need to overcome to have a better world. On a more personal level...
3) It takes advantage of vulnerable people and makes their isolation and MH worse, and often financially exploits them.
Anyway, there you go.

I can appreciate not wanting to write someone off. I imagine I would find this whole discussion a whole lot more difficult if I had someone I knew in my life fall down this kind of rabbit hole.
One thing I think you should keep in mind, is that people can find their own way out. They weren't born this way and they don't have to die that way either.

You would have to ask such an invidiual what their views are on a variety of topics.
All I would care about is:
A) Would their beliefs really affect me that much?
B) Do they respect me enough to hold my beliefs and will try to change my beliefs?
But that's me. If you can't stomach someone who's just more right, morally superior and has a halo round the back of their head, then that's your problem!

it's not funny for me though. If i'm right and he's an antisemite then yes it will effect me 'that much', because she's a very beloved friend and i'm not capable of turning a blind eye to that.
