The stupidity of the anti-vaxx nutcases

At first glance, being vaccinated protects people from the cause of excess death.

If there is a large number of unexplained excess death,s then the cause is probably unrelated to vaccine status. But it is probably just unvaccinated succumbing to covid.
i think the graph could potentially be showing that the people who are vacciinated are more likely to be in better health in other ways, or that might be part of it, but yeah.

The chart bimble shows the cause of these deaths is incredibly unlikely to be vaccine-related. This is because the number of unvaccinated excess deaths; it's only slightly larger in December but there are many more vaccinated people than unvaccinated so the probability of dying is a lot higher if you are unvaccinated.

That's explained excess deaths.

There are unexplained excess deaths as well.

I'm quite open minded. I'll take the science seriously when the science has some facts on the matter.

My point all along, is that while people should take the reccomendations of the experts seriously, they aren't ALWAYS the final bottom line because new facts can emerge.

Vaccines haven't been eliminated as a cause, it has inched the scales for me in my personal choice not take any more vaccinations in future, especially with a virus that is nowhere near as deadly as it was in 2020.

That's my choice. I should be able to air with emphasising that I'm not advising people to take the same choice.

With something as important as your health, you should be basing your decision on facts, not speculation. It's a fact that covid infection risks complications at a significantly greater rate than vaccination, including complications that simply do not happen with vaccination.

Vaccines haven't been eliminated as a potential cause for the unexplained deaths, but there's nothing to suggest that they are a likely cause for them.

The current variants of the coronavirus running around may be less deadly, but that doesn't mean that they can't kill you or give you a life-changing condition if you do survive. Vaccination is still a good idea.

Your choice is a stupid one.

"All-cause" includes unknown causes.

Excellent. Then you'll be aware that there are at least nine shortcomings of that work.

The authors offer five, but there are at least four other gaping holes in that study.

Having read and digested the paper, you'll be able to list them for us.
hahaha. No. I'm not a student.

You're leaving out risk management.

A big problem with anti vaxers is they try to understand deceptively complex science around vaccine technology and risk.

Being on a different part of the Dunning-Kruger curve to the bit they think they are on causes miss analysis of the data which shapes their beliefs. As shown on this thread recently.

It really is best to listen to the experts about this stuff. People like mhra/fda/bma etc etc. All who think being vaccinated is a statistically significant good idea.

What's obviously a total coincidence is that StakerOne is going on about all these unknown excess deaths and the vaccines and also the Great Reset and crypto-currency as some salve for creeping authoritarianism. I'd take the former much more seriously if, 1) It came from someone that knew what they were talking about, and, 2) Didn't alongside this also talk about bullshit conspiracy theories.

hahaha. No. I'm not a student.
That wasn't the question.

Perhaps you are not capable of reading and understanding the paper? Or willing to?

Misinterpreting or misrepresenting it as 'solely infection acquired immunity' equals or bests 'solely vaccination acquired immunity' ignores the clear methodological shortcomings with the study.

It would be goalposts shifting if I was here telling people what they should or shouldn't be doing when it comes to vaccinations.

If I were sat here telling people what to do, one way or the other, then it would be very much more serious and I would be much more careful about what I'm posting. But I'm not really even talking about my health. My main point, or even gripe is that there an lunatics on the pro vaccination side .....

.... and none of you have admitted that such lunatics exist on the pro-vaccination side. What are you afraid of?
What exactly are you here to say? That people should have the vaccine if they want it and not if they don't? What's the point? They'll do that anyway without your weird intervention.

Given that the majority the world is, as you put it, pro vaccine (or as I'd put it, listen to the best medical advice and not think they know better cos they watched a YouTube video) then yes, some will indeed be lunatics. Not sure how much of an admission that is though.

I'm afraid of tigers and regular employment.

You're really fucking boring. How's about you answer my question that you've been ignoring? Have you had COVID yet?

Is your argument really that weak, that you have to resort to trying to discredit me because of my unrelated views?

Publically immutable, permissionless, secure (loads of nodes) blockchains solve many problems, not just creeping authoritarianism.

I believe in decentralised power and I hate globalisation, because the globalisation that we see now, clearly involves centralised power that is circumventing our democracies.

I don't need to sit here and give you my personal theories and how I've joined my dots up about globalists, I can simply send you to their websites and ask you to make your own mind up.

As for vaccines, you don't need to take me seriously because I'm not trying to persuade you to take the vaccine or not, nor am I trying to change your mind on the vaccine or the virus, I'm merely defending my views and my choices.

What I am against, is how people are getting so dogmatic to the point that we all have to come to consenus as a society and that somehow either taking the vaccine (or not) has to be the default and that anything else is lunancy, that people's views are somehow not valid.

It seems you haven't been reading my posts.

If you had, you would know that I had Covid.

I even admitted that I was quite scared and that I worried that I might not wake up if I went to sleep and that was with the vaccination.

So yeah, I've been very, very honest about my experiences, even if those experiences weigh against my decision not to take the Covid vaccinations in future.

can people maybe just stop indulging this 2pence shitmonger, he's a caricature distillation of exactly what my anti-anti-vax prejudice is all about and the more he talks the more its not helping. I need to believe that not all of them are like this. Not all of them are like this are they?
Yes. It's all about you.

No indeed, some of them have redeeming qualities

who are the globalists StakerOne ?
Maybe you can help me: I am prejudiced against people who are vaccine-skeptics, and its because i think all of them are conspiracy theorists, and I have a big problem with conspiracy theorists. i don't want to think this way though. How would you explain who "the globalists' are and what is their plan?

I don't need a fucking fact checker to call you out on the way you've snipped me out of context.

You're a fucking wrong-un. A shitty lying one at that.

But you clearly don't understand the studies and science you keep talking about. How can you make decisions around complex science and virology when you clearly don't get what you're looking at? I don't go to the garage and demand they fix my car in a particular way because I watched a video on YouTube about engines.

And globalists? Yeah show us a website or short video that you think explains this Great Reset/globalist thing. And are you completely unaware of the dodgy (and I say that as the milder end of the spectrum) political history to referring to 'globalists'?

Bimble is a wrong-un. Snip quoted me out of context with the sole purpose of misrepresentation. Bang out of order.
Some may consider that a funny thing to do, but it's nasty and it's not something I would do to someone else just to misrepresent their character.

No you don't understand the science, clearly which is why I need to demand you do as I fucking say! :p

To be fair that was a mite off, her snipping prevents one seeing the glorious 'loonery of your post. You don't look quite so batshit in the snip
