These aren't just average conspiracy theories either. It's not moon landings or Rosswell. This whiole thing is a deliberate attempt to incite violence and in the case of Marty's nazi Youtube (which is what Ruumble is) link, racial violence. We can argue all day about the likelihood of mass violence or civil war (though several people have been killed in politically motivated violence already this year in the US) but that is absolutely the motivation behind it.

I've no more idea what the mods' policy on banning Marty1 is, but it's kind of moot - I imagine that if it lent itself to being put out there in public, it probably would have been. So, it is what it is.

I do think that Marty1's ongoing presence on the boards serves at least one useful purpose - having a "live one" around the place provides an object lesson in the way these people operate, and I've certainly learned a thing or two about the relationship between trumpette thinking, and reality. And, very much thanks to Marty1, I've had a good opportunity to see how the twisting of reality happens in the cesspit he occupies, and that's useful knowledge.

I'd still prefer that he wasn't here, though - he does add a touch of a particular kind of snidey nastiness that Urban, for all its bunfighting, rarely manages by itself.
