I had a lovely mug which I asked to keep when I was on a site visit once. Lasted about 2 weeks in the office then mysteriously went missing. Never found the culprit despite sending out multiple e-mails and reminding peple about it regularly

That's carefully nurtured - not that the glaze on my mug would interfere with the flavour of the tea - but cleaning products would.

Not sure if this link will work (it didn't, photobucket seems to be finally biting the dust).

Got 3 or 4 of these in a charity shop a while ago, one now holds chopsticks, one holds buttons, but I still drink out of this one and it's very ergonomic/ tactile.

At least you have a nicely defined separation between tomato soup mug and ashtray mug there. I suppose you just mash it all into the pot these days?

One of my travel mugs. I take a flask of hot water and tea bags with me every day for refills so save plenty of money by not buying overpriced brews on the go.

i have one of these - is awesome for camping. screwtop lid that doesnt leak, and it fits in ya pocket. and keeps tea hot for a good few hours.

This is one of three favourite mugs, but it is the most favourite. It's a decent size and is thick and chunky, rather than one of those tiny thing china cups. I spit at those cups

I confess I wish I'd cleaned the outside of it for the photo, but that tea patina on the inside is never cleaned - any more than my teapot.

It's better on the mug than in me - actually my tea eats through a stainless steel strainer every few years so there'll probably be a bit of iron in there too.
