The new social entrepreneurs: spacemakers, school of everything, techno-libertarians

I'd read something about that somewhere - not having an easy time finding it...

Nope - just finding stuff about the rioting last year and bits about how rapidly they are privatising their health care service in order to fund tax cuts.

Today we are mostly getting tickets for the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network! Looks absolutely brilliant and will solve all social problems in Asia forever.

The conference sessions also feature more sharing from Asian investors and practitioners as we try to uncover the journey of “Social Investing in Asia: What has worked?” Many who have been involved in the sector find themselves confused as the industry is very new, the AVPN conference tries to address these as we attempt to find the right recipe for Venture Philanthropy and Social Investing in Asia.New this year are additional sessions that provide practical workshops, legal clinics, facilitated networking and a dedicated Social Enterprise marketplace. The SE marketplace showcases members’ investee organisations along with social businesses who are a part of the AVPN network. The featured organisations will have a chance to pitch to delegates. The progamming options have expanded to ensure that there will be something useful and relevant for everyone.

Sadly I'm busy in May, every single day, so won't be able to make it :(

I very much doubt, whether anyone would learn from my various monumental fuck-ups, along life's path. I doubt if any of them were unique, therefore I didn't learn either.
