The all boxing thread

Fury can be a real mess of a fighter. Supreme ability and size and the kind of boxing brain that allows him to win in all sorts of ways. But then he allows fighters back in and flirts with getting knocked out, as with Wilder. I'd say almost certainly Fury, particularly as he's actually improving into his 30s, but it will depend on which Fury turns up.

Fwiw, I hope Whyte does it. If anyone 'deserves it', he does.

I would like to watch the Tyson Fury fight.

It doesn't even have to be live, what are the chances it might appear on Youtube a few days later?

The last big stadium heavyweight event in Cardiff, Lennox Lewis v Frank Bruno I was present at.

The press conferences have been refreshingly good humoured and friendly.

To quote the cliché, its a shame someone has to lose

I've paid £26 for it for my son & mates to watch on a sleepover. On the upstairs TV, I have no clue how to access it.

Dammit. I wanted more from Whyte. Shame for him but Tyson Fury is the mutts Nutts.

Can't see Fury retiring if AJ wins v Usyk and a mega fight is organised. He beats AJ and he's the G.O.A.T

Tyson really is a tremendous boxer.
Not just his size and reach, but his biggest asset is his boxing brain.
He works out a plan how to beat an opponent and sticks to it, and its worked every time.

I do wonder how he would have done against Mike Tyson or Muhammed Ali

He'd have got hurt I reckon. He's been lucky.

He’s not been lucky he is an extraordinary boxer especially for his size, he has everything. Speed, precision, movement, evasiveness, boxing IQ his power is dialled up

What people see appears to be ungainly/messy at times and people can’t see passed physique, which is no indicator of boxing ability (AJ)
but if you are actually registering what he’s doing when he is fighting he’s got it all

I think he’d give Ali and Tyson real problems

Really enjoyed that. 1st event I’ve bought in ages. I actually enjoyed the undercard too and Wembley looked amazing.

No idea why I said Whyte in 3

Fury is the nuts for sure, I love watching him and that uppercut was wonderful.

I really hope he doesn’t retire until unifying.
