Heard him on the Joe Rogan podcast.

He said he has to keep himself stoned all the time or else he is a right mean arsehole to his wife and children. Which is a bit troubling.

He has laid off the Harris Tweed for this fight though

Having been in the boxing game myself, it's always irked me that some of the backroom team, coaches, managers or whoever never seem to be able to slap sense into their fighters and say enough is enough.

I get Don King screwed Tyson over financially, King is lower than a rat. But someone needs to stop him from being a circus freak.

Hard to know what happened there. May have been something bad going on with the eye other than the swelling. If so he did the right thing. But yeah, it was a surprise.

Not just financially- everything turned to shit for Tyson after he got rid of Kevin Rooney at the encouragement of that cunt Don King.

His corner men were a bunch of absolute clowns after that

Again, and I'm NOT defending his actions here, but him saying shit like that smacks to me of a boxer that's got no one looking out for him.

There's a duty of care thing not happening.
 
Dubois doing an interview I see on the internet (I'm no longer watching). So presumably nothing worse than a 'normal' eye swollen shut. He'll get some stick for this.
 
Tyson wasn't worth staying up for IMHO.

Whole thing a bit silly.
Fight before between some youtuber and a basketball player who didn't know what the fuck he was doing.
Got well knocked out in ridiculous fashion.
Then snoop dogg came out doing 10 minutes of his hits puffing on a huge joint.
Bear in mind in America it was Saturday night and he was all N-words and motherfuckers and bitches and blowing out huge plumes of weed smoke all over the gaff lol.

Tyson looked worried before the fight but maybe he was concerned Snoop was ransacking his weed farm, which were heavily involved in the evening i think
 
I blame the people who actually want to spend money on watching this shite, well that and the boxing commissioners in the states.

Mayweather needs to be careful though. I know he's earning serious money from this stuff but sooner or later he's going to be beaten by some chancer no mark because he is younger, stronger and fitter.
 
Talking of scumbags, Bill Jo Saunders looked in reasonable nick the other night. Same time I don't think he has enough to trouble Canelo. Get the impression ggg is fading a bit now, so that might be a possibility, though Golovkin would have walked through him 3/4 years ago.
 
Anybody paying £25 or whatever it is to watch Joshua tonight? Should win, but it will be interesting to see if he keeps his cool and implements his game plan. Pulev trying to get into Joshua's head at the weigh in it seems.

God no. I'll attempt to watch it but the only event I might get consider paying for is Fury Joshua next year, should it happen
