Well first there was the support act which I thought was very good. Talking about ripping off The Fall and shagging in Aldi.
Then someone came on to say the gig was off. I thought he was taking the piss. Then a very drunk Atilla the Stockbroker, who was there as a punter, came on stage to save the day. After he did his stint I heard someone bribe the soundman with beer he'd let Andrew play some tunes.
In the meantime someone else came on stage to say Jason was "snorting coke on someones sofa in south london".
People kept buying the only half of SMs to turn up drinks and he was fucking trashed by the end. He ended up chucking CDs into the crowd (about 30 of us). One smack my other (sober) half in the face.
The tickets are valid for the next gig.

I saw the other day that they are supporting The Specials in Wolves in October. Seems a bit of an odd choice (unless some promoter saw no further than the word 'mods). It makes the ridiculous £43 ticket price a bit more value, but still probably out of my price range
